You hear it everywhere. Everyone is busy here, busy there. No time for anything else. It is very easy to fall into the trap that a lot of tasks, meetings and emails are equal to progress.
Rethink the next meeting you will attend. Is the outcome of the meeting is to move things forward? Do you have a plan to execute after the meeting? If not, skip it. Some people are masters in the art of being busy. These are the people who are coming extra early, leaving one hour later. The problem is they are ineffective. Activity and progress can be confused in many ways.
Sometimes it is good to sit back and think about what progress are we getting from this activity? Is it worth spending time on it? I wish you all not a busy weekend, but a productive one!
