Have you ever thought about your note-taking and referencing as a one-way process? It’s more like write only activity. Are you coming back to your notes? Do you know where you saved the last exciting article about a specific topic?
The more I think about it, the more I see that I do not lack information. I’m actually overwhelmed with the amount of notes, links, files, videos, podcasts and information that I have to process. I started to systemize my approach to note-taking and referencing, and it made a huge difference in how much knowledge I get out of stuff I process, read, listen and watch. It should be easy to use and find information. I encourage you to do the same. Visit your referencing folder often, so you know what you have and where you have it. You will remember more, and knowledge will be used.
